How long do roses last in a vase, and how should they be cared for?

1. Check the water level on the first day. Upon delivery, check the water level in the vase; at least one-third of the stems should be submerged.
2. Trim the stems diagonally. When changing the water, remove the roses, cut the stem ends at a 1–2 cm angle with sharp scissors, and immediately return them to the water.
3. Change the water every two days. Rinse the vase without detergent; use room temperature water and add plant food if desired.
4. Do not leave leaves in the water. Remove any leaves below the water level; decaying leaves quickly cloud the water.
5. Choose the right location. Place the vase in a cool corner, away from direct sunlight, radiators, and fruit bowls.
