Boxed Flower Prices

The price of a boxed flower arrangement is determined by three factors: the type and number of flowers in the box, the size and material of the box (cardboard, velvet, glass), and whether the flowers are fresh or preserved. Mini boxes containing daisies and 4-6 roses are entry-level; giant boxes with hundreds of roses and preserved roses in glass boxes are in the top price range.

How Long Do Flowers Last in a Box? Care Guide

1. Keep the sponge moist: every two or three days, water the sponge where the flowers are sitting with a small amount of water, between the flowers; do not let water collect at the bottom of the box.
2. Choose a cool location: keep the box away from direct sunlight, heaters, and air conditioning blasting.
3. Separate the wilting flowers: In mixed boxes, gently remove the wilting flowers first; the others will last longer.
4. Orchids in a box: For potted orchids, water the pot, not the foam, once a week when the roots turn silvery.
5. Non-fading boxes: do not water, keep the box lid closed, and store away from humid environments.
