Which plants have red flowers?

Short answer

Among the red-flowered plants at RoseBox, the red anthurium in a stone pot, the red multi-anthurium in a burgundy stone pot, and the 50 cm large anthurium in a pot stand out. A burgundy Gala is also available as an alternative in a burgundy tone. Anthuriums are the longest-lived of the red-flowered plants. These models come in pots and will re-bloom in suitable light.

The bright red part of the anthurium is actually a modified leaf (spathe), not a petal; the long, slender spike in the center is where the actual flowers are located. This structure allows the red color to remain vibrant for weeks. Anthurium is also a popular choice for those looking for a red houseplant.

How to Make Flowering Potted Plants Bloom Again?

Three conditions are necessary for flowering potted plants to bloom again: sufficient light, proper watering, and respect for the plant's resting period. If there is insufficient light, the plant will remain green but will not flower; this is the most common problem in flowering plants.

Orchid: After the flowers have fallen, cut the stem one or two centimeters above the top node. Placing it in a bright location with a few degrees Celsius temperature difference between day and night will help it to sprout new shoots.
Anthurium: Keep in bright but indirect light and a warm environment; cut off faded flowers from the stem. New flowers will naturally appear if there is enough light.
Lily plant: Once flowering is over, wait for the leaves to yellow and reduce watering. The bulb will go dormant and sprout again the next season.
Jasmine: It needs plenty of light. Light pruning after flowering will encourage more frequent blooms the following season.

Flowering Plant Care and Pet Warning

Pets: Lilies pose a serious risk to cats; anthuriums can also cause mouth irritation in cats and dogs. Phalaenopsis orchids are generally considered safer species in accepted sources.
